How to play:

Your primary goal is to reach a planet marked with a red arrow. Travel between star systems, gather resources, trade and upgrade your starship to complete your mission.

1. Galaxy Map Layout:
Select a star by clicking on it, press "Warp" to confirm relocation. The distance you can travel at once is limited by your ship's warp range, which can be improved by upgrades. 
Keep an eye on your fuel and provision, you wouldn't want them to run out in the middle of your space journey.
You can also view Star System Layout for the star you're currently based at.

2. Star System Layout:
Select a planet by clicking on it. 

You can Scan a planet to receive useful info on what awaits you there, habitability, amount and type of potential resources. Can save you time from landing on a planet you have no interest in.
You can Land on a planet and depending on its type, trade/upgrade or harvest resources.

3. Planet Types:
1. Gas Giants - can be sources of Gas resource.
2. Ice Giants - can be sources of Minerals resource.

3. Terrestrial - inhabited planets you can find traders and engineers on.
To leave a planet you can press Lift Off button, but only if your ship is not overweight.

4. Inventory:

Inventory screen displays all the goods you carry on your ship, amounts, weight/unit and a total weight of each type of resource, and allows you to dump any excess to free up space.

5. Resources:
Lives - your most valuable resource. Can be spent on various unique technologies or lost in an unfortunate accident. Running out of lives means the game's over!
Fuel - a primary resource used for any movement actions in the game. Can be bought from traders.
Provision - another primary resource consumed by actions in the game. Can be bought from traders.

Minerals - a secondary resource that can be mined on Ice Giants and traded for one of the primary resources.
Gas - another secondary resource that can be extracted from Gas Giants and traded for one of the primary resources.
